Billo alternatives: pay UGC creators per view, not per video

September 29, 2026 · 5 min read

Billo is a good way to buy ad creative. You pay per video, from $99 a video in packs, the creator assigns you the rights, and you run the videos as ads. If that is what you need, it is a solid pick.

People usually look for Billo alternatives when they want something else: creators posting on their own accounts, and paying for the views those posts earn instead of for the file.

What Billo does well

  • Fast ad creative for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and Amazon.
  • Full rights assigned to you under its terms.
  • Ad benchmark data from a large library of past ads.

Billo's own comparison page lists its limits as video-only content, a smaller creator pool than open marketplaces, and no built-in TikTok Shop or affiliate support. Its terms also say packs expire after 12 months and are non-refundable.

Per video vs per view, on a real campaign

Here is how views spread across the 184 videos creators made for Pose Genius on NewWave, all from the same brief:

Views per videoShare of videos
Under 10,00064.5%
10,000 to 100,00020.2%
100,000 to 500,00011.5%
Over 500,0003.8%

About two-thirds stayed under 10,000 views. About seven passed half a million, and the best one reached 1.4 million. Paying a flat fee, the 1.4 million video costs the same as one with 2,000 views. Paying on views, the money follows the videos that worked, and the cost per 1,000 views fell from $11.05 in the first weeks to $0.90.

At $99 a video, 184 videos would be $18,216 before any ad spend. That does not make per-video wrong: it buys creative you own and can run as ads. Per view buys reach from real accounts. Plenty of brands do both.
